Cardinal Staffing has partnered with a world-class steel manufacturing facility in Gibraltar, MI. We are currently looking for dedicated, reliable & hard-working candidates who want to learn & grow with a reputable company where there is room for advancement. 2nd shift $17.00/hr Overtime at time & a half for all hours over 40 in 1 week1:30PM-12:00AM**MUST TRAIN ON 1st SHIFT Mon-Fri 5AM-1:30PM for 1-2 weeks**Mon-Thur (must be open to working Fridays & Saturdays, if needed)MUST PASS A TAPE MEASURE TEST IN OFFICE Position Requirements:Must have some experience reading a tape measure
  • Must be comfortable working with heavy machinery and able to use the correct safety equipment
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs consistently throughout the day
  • Must be clean and organized for the safety of the work environment
  • Must be team oriented and work well with other
Job Duties (include but not limited to):
  • Working on a shear with operator and helping as needed
  • Setting up skids to stack finished material onto
  • Looking for defects on the material as it moves on the line
  • Will be in charge of rolling out bundles, banding them and preparing for upcoming work
  • Variations of job performance will happen to due cross training
Job Type: Full-timePay: $17.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 – 50 per weekSchedule:
  • 10 hour shift
  • Morning shift
  • Overtime pay for more than 40 hours in a week.
