Job Description
Cardinal Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Automotive Parts Sequencer to support just-in-time (JIT) delivery for automotive customers. This role is responsible for ensuring parts are sequenced accurately according to customer production lines, enabling efficient assembly operations and on-time delivery.
1st shift starts at 6am, 2nd shift starts at 4:30pm. Both shifts run 8-10 hours, 5 to 6 days a week. Pay starts at $15/hr.

Key Responsibilities
• Sequence automotive parts based on OEM production schedules and broadcast requirements
• Ensure correct part-to-vehicle matching in alignment with customer build sequences
• Coordinate with production, warehousing, and logistics teams to maintain uninterrupted flow of sequenced parts
• Monitor and adjust sequences in real time to accommodate schedule changes or disruptions
• Verify accuracy of labels, barcodes, and sequencing data within ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
• Support JIT/JIS (Just-in-Time / Just-in-Sequence) delivery requirements
• Troubleshoot sequencing errors and implement corrective actions quickly
• Maintain communication with internal teams and customer contacts regarding sequence status

Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
• 1–3 years of experience in automotive manufacturing, sequencing, or logistics
• Experience with JIT/JIS delivery models strongly preferred
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with high accuracy under time constraints
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
