Job Description
Cardinal Staffing is currently seeking a Warehouse Painter for a global automotive manufacturing facility in Milan, MI! We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious individual with experience using paint sprayers, long poles, and rollers to coat interior and exterior surfaces.
Shift: 2nd Shift 2:00pm-10:00pm Monday-Friday
Pay Rate: Up to $20 an hour based on experience
Key Responsibilities
· • Prepare warehouse surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming as needed
· • Operate commercial-grade paint sprayers to apply even, consistent coats on walls, ceilings, and large surface areas
· • Use long-handled poles and rollers to reach and paint high or difficult-to-access areas
· • Mix and match paint to required specifications and ensure uniform application
· • Perform touch-ups and finishing work as needed
· • Maintain a clean and organized work area and properly store painting materials and equipment
· • Follow all safety procedures including proper ventilation, personal protective equipment (PPE), and ladder/scaffolding protocols
· • Communicate with supervisors regarding job progress, materials needed, and potential issues
Qualifications
· • Previous experience in industrial or warehouse painting
· • Proficient in using airless sprayers, long poles, and roller equipment
· • Ability to work at heights and on ladders safely
· • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
· • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and paint supplies as needed
· • Reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team
