Metal Processor 1st Shift

Job Description

Cardinal Staffing is currently seeking a 1st Shift Metal Processor. We are looking for candidates who wants to join a team that values craftsmanship, safety, and teamwork! 
? Location: Burton, MI | ? Pay: $18 - $22 | ? Full-Time | 1st Shift (6am – 3:30pm) What you'll be doing:
  • Load material using cranes or forklifts
  • Run pre-programmed cut files (CAD team provides all files)
  • Inspect and deburr parts after cutting
  • Support operation of additional fabrication equipment: Accurshear, Hydraulic Press Brake, Pipe Processing Machine, Horizontal Band Saw
  • Follow job travelers and quality requirements
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Communicate with the Shop Manager and Leads to support daily priorities
  • Operate and maintain our CNC plasma cutting table (Torchmate 6x10 with 150-amp system)

Requirements:
  • Fabrication or plasma table experience in a job shop or steel environment
  • Able to read blueprints and follow traveler instructions
  • Experience or willingness to train on shear, brake, saws, and tube equipment
  • Comfortable using cranes and forklifts
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and willing to take initiative
