Job Description

Cardinal Staffing Services, is hiring a Furniture Preparer for a designer and manufacturer of office furniture in Maumee, OH. As a Furniture Preparer, you will be responsible for prepping furniture for finishing; attach seating foam, apply casters, quality check for finishing, etc. Cardinal Staffing Services, is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered ($16/hr). competitive compensation as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).   Monday-Thursday, 6:30am to 4:00pm and Friday, 6:30am to 10:30am.                            Furniture Preparer Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Apply pieces to pre-built furniture to prep for finishing 
  • Utilize a tape measure to make sure everything fits 
  • Utilize hand tools to secure pieces in place
  • Work with other departments to ensure smooth transition 
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs 
  • Follow safety rules and precautions 
  • Perform additional duties as assigned 
 Furniture Preparer Requirements and Qualifications: 
  • Able to work independently 
  • Able to adapt / adjust to changing situations 
  • Excellent time management skills 
  • Great attention to detail 
  • Able to accurately read a tape measure
  • Previous experience with various hand tools
