Job Description
Cardinal Staffing Services is hiring for Forklift Operators for in Northwood, OH. Working as Forklift Operator for Cardinal Staffing Services, you will work in a fast-paced automotive environment and be involved in all aspects of production operations including:
· Basic automotive assembly for the front facias, bumpers and other plastic automotive parts
· Following Safety Procedures
· Quality Checks
This position will require candidates to be able to work independently and demonstrate a proactive, problem-solving attitude.
Cardinal Staffing Services is invested in their team members! Competitive Compensation $21.05- $21.55 / hr for Forklift Operators. Generous referral and attendance bonuses!
You must have open availability and ability to work up to 12 hours shifts and 5 – 7 days per week.
Other Job Duties:
· To exhibit teamwork skills and actively participate in team activities in a positive working environment.
· To demonstrate problem solving skills in a work environment that is striving for continuous improvement.
· To follow Company policies and display conduct
· Adhere to all safety and health objectives, policies and procedures
· Strive to meet or exceed departmental performance objectives on a daily basis as directed by the Team Leader.
· Perform all work within the guidelines of the control plan to ensure parts quality and customer satisfaction.
· May generate special or hazardous wastes in the course of their duties and must follow all work instructions that explain the handling of special and hazardous wastes.
· Maintain a clean work area and report any malfunctioning equipment
· Perform assemblies and other job functions per work guidance sheets.
· Return all tools to proper storage area at the end of the shift.
· Record and report all data required to maintain daily production records
· Direct all non-conforming parts to the appropriate reprocess area.
· Perform other duties as assigned by the production Team Leader.
· Requirements for Forklift Operators:
· Ability to maneuver forklifts in a fast-paced environment
· At least 2 years of forklift experience in a factory setting
· Okay with starting as Production and Assembly until there are Forklift positions available.
