Job Description
Cardinal Staffing is seeking a mechanically inclined Final Assembly - QA Inspection individual for a well-recognized fabrication shop located in Sandusky, OH
In this role, you will be responsible for performing quality assurance and inspection tasks as part of the final assembly process for our products. Your attention to detail and mechanical expertise will be crucial in ensuring the quality and functionality of our machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of assembled products to identify and address any defects or issues
- Collaborate with the production team to implement quality control measures and optimize the final assembly process
- Maintain detailed records and documentation related to the inspection and quality assurance process
- Provide feedback and recommendations to improve product quality and manufacturing efficiency
- Assist with the troubleshooting and resolution of any issues that arise during the final assembly stage
Qualifications:- -Mechanically Inclined- Knowledge of hand and power tools
- Experience in a quality assurance or final assembly role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
- Strong technical / mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Working Conditions:
This position will be based in a manufacturing facility, and you may be required to stand for extended periods, lift and move materials, and work with machinery, equipment and tools. The work environment may involve exposure to noise, fumes, or other factors associated with the machinery manufacturing industry.
Compensation and Benefits:
This is a contract to hire position with a target pay rate of $20 plus per hour BOE. Company offers a comprehensive benefits package.
Shift Availability- 1st 8a – 4:30p with overtime as needed*Steel toe boots required*
