Cardinal Staffing is hiring an Experienced Food Prep/Cook for a healthcare facility in Port Clinton, OH. This position is responsible for preparing meals, cooking menu items, maintaining food safety standards, and providing excellent service to patients and guests.
Pay: $15.00/hour

Pay: $15.00/hour
Shift: Varies Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients and cook meals following standardized recipes
- Operate grill, deli, and food prep stations
- Prepare soups, salads, desserts, sides, and entrée items
- Take food orders and provide friendly customer service
- Monitor food quality, temperatures, and food safety practices
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work areas, and dishes
- Assist with inventory, stock rotation, and storage organization
- Minimum 6 months of food service or cooking experience
- Basic knife skills and commercial kitchen experience
- Ability to follow recipes and measure ingredients accurately
- Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- High school diploma or GED
- Hospital, cafeteria, or institutional food service experience
- ServSafe Certification
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening (including nicotine), background check, and physical examination
