Job Description
Cardinal Staffing is working with a heat treating facility in Monroe, MI to add skilled operators to their team! Team members have touched products that make the world stronger and safer. Their processes improve upon parts manufactured by other industries, including aerospace, defense, firearms, automotive, construction, agriculture, energy and medical... just to name a few.
Position will be 1st shift with a pay range between $17-18 based on experience.
Responsibilities:- Follow detailed work orders and process instructions to support production flow.
- Assist in fixturing, masking, cleaning, loading, and unloading parts before and after heat-treat processes.
- Help prepare parts and materials for processing and shipment, including degreasing and inspection.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to support efficient operations.
- Provide general labor support such as material handling, lifting, and basic shop duties.
- Cooperate with lead operators and technicians to meet production goals and quality requirements.
- Operate basic shop equipment safely (training provided), potentially including fork trucks and overhead cranes when trained/certified.
Preferred Skills:- Forklift experience is a must, Overhead Crane is a plus- Close attention to detail as processes can change daily to accommodate work load
