Cardinal Staffing is hiring an Equipment Operator in Monroe, MI.
Equipment Operator Department Operations The Equipment Operator position performs tasks associated with operating the Ion/Gas Nitriding units and other equipment required to perform the Ion/Gas Nitriding process Reports To: Shift Lead/ Production Supervisor/ General Foreman/ Asst. Ops Manager/ VP of Plasma/Nitriding Key Responsibilities RESULTS Quality of Work (1) Unpacks, degreases, handles and packages all customer parts in accordance with process instructions and work instructions specifications (2) Accurately Monitors equipment and maintains temperature control of parts in accordance to the process instructions (3) Provides accurate inspection of completed parts using either stationary or portable hardness testers
Productivity (1) Operates the Ion/Gas Nitriding units and other equipment in in accordance with schedules to provide timely and accurate processing of parts. Will do this by figuring out priority work from scheduling board or sheet and needs limited help from supervisor to determine tasks. Able to balance a full load of duties. (2) Identifies the most efficient way to safely complete their scheduled assignments and balances a full load of work. Works with a sense of urgency
