Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Electric Motor Repair Technician to join a reputable machine shop in Monroeville, OH. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys diagnosing, repairing, and rebuilding electric motors in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

Job Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair AC and DC electric motors, both large and small
- Perform Class H rewinds, dynamic balancing, and complete motor rebuilds
- Use diagnostic and testing tools, including the Electrom iTIG II, Meg-Ohm Meter, PI, Surge, and Resistance testing equipment
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints
- Operate machining tools and perform custom fabrication and welding when needed
- Ensure repairs meet quality standards and follow industry safety practices
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electric motor repair
- Skilled in AC/DC motor diagnostics, rewinding, and rebuilds
- Familiar with surge testing, resistance measurements, and dynamic balancing
- Proficient in machining, welding, and fabrication
- Able to read technical blueprints and schematics
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Certification in motor repair or completion of related technical training
- Experience using the Electrom iTIG II Surge Tester
