Job Description

We are looking for an experienced EDM Operator.   The EDM Operator supports the tooling group in a fast-paced manufacturing business.  The successful candidate must be a self-starter having a sense of ownership of their projects, and highly organized with a willing to grow within the EDM group.
Core Responsibilities
  • Design electrodes using Visi Tooling CAD software
  • NC Program electrodes using Visi CAM software
  • Cut electrode blanks and mount into Erowa holders
  • Machine electrodes using Makino CNC electrode cutting machines
  • Knowledge of Erowa electrode feeding robot - preferred
  • Load, locate, and burn components using (3) Makino sinker EDM machines
Requirements
  • Experience as an EDM Operator.
  • Experience in production and/or prototype injection molding. Automotive experience is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills.
