Job Description
Cardinal Staffing Services, is immediately hiring for Part Time Dishwasher- Kitchen Helper in Toledo, OH. As a Part-Time Dishwasher-Kitchen Helper for Cardinal Staffing, you will work in a fast-paced environment and be involved in all aspects of event operations for a local company.
Job Summary:Wash and properly stores all cooking utensils, china equipment, flatware, silverware, and glassware. Cleans food delivery, storage and preparation areas, maintains and distributes china, glassware, silverware, cooking and serving utensils, and vehicles. Assists Chefs in kitchen with basic chopping, slicing, dicing, and carving. Assists Chefs with plating of functions.

Essential Job Duties:
- Wash all wares in dishwashing machine, pot washing machine or by hand.
- Polish all silverware, platters and chaffing dishes and maintain service vehicle appearance.
- Wash and polish all stainless steel in kitchen; including shelves, dish cabinets, ice machines, refrigerators, walk-ins, ovens and hoods.
- Sweep, scrub and mop kitchen floors (above, below and under) and preparation areas.
- Collect trash from kitchen and preparation areas and dispose of it. Clean garbage cans (daily) and reline with bags.
- Examine garbage for silverware, dishware and glassware, service vehicles.
- Store all dishes and other ware in proper areas with fashion.
- Distribute need wares to designated areas for business and functions.
- Keep all areas holding dishware, glassware, plastics, platters, and silverware organized and in neat form.
- Cleans and maintains the dish machine and pot washer after each meal period.
- Cleans all floor mats daily.
- Performs other tasks such as assisting in food preparation, or such as directed by Chef/Manager.
- All other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
