Job Description

Cardinal Staffing Services, is immediately hiring for a Diesel Mechanic for a transportation company in Genoa, OH.  A successful Diesel Mechanic should have excellent troubleshooting skills and high level of attention to detail. Cardinal Staffing Services, is invested in their team members!  All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($30/hr - $42/hr) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).  Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire.      Responsibilities of the Diesel Mechanic: 
  • Troubleshooting diesel engine systems with ECM diagnostic programs
  • Diagnose, repair, adjust and align engines, chassis electrical systems, suspension and brake systems
  • Perform service calls, vehicle road tests and ensure quality repairs
 Required Qualifications of the Diesel Mechanic: 
  • 3+ years of Diesel Mechanic experience required
  • Knowledge of Class 8 trucks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
