Job Description

Cardinal Staffing is seeking a DOT Compliance and Safety Coordinator for an environmental waste company located in Genoa, OH.  The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in transportation compliance as well as extensive knowledge of DOT rules and regulations. 
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the preparation and completion of regulatory and compliance documents.
  • Effectively evaluate, monitor, analyze and identify all driver compliance and non-compliance issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for helping manage internal and external compliance reporting, providing compliance advice and assistance, conducting compliance investigations, manage on-going education program. 
  • Monitor and assist in enforcement of DOT FMCSA regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Responsible for conducting or assisting with all tasks associated with:
    • Driver Qualifications
    • Driver Training
    • Driver Records
Required skills and qualifications
  • At least 2 years or more years in transportation compliance
  • Expertise and extensive knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
  • Advanced computer skills with proficiency and working knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Preferred skills and qualifications
  • Previous fleet management and tracking software experience

Pay:  $20/hr- $22/hr
