Job Description

We’re working with a local manufacturing company in Sandusky that’s hiring a Customer Service Representative to support their sales department. This position plays a key role in communicating with customers, confirming order details, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure a smooth process from beginning to end. This position is a great fit for someone with prior customer service experience who is detail-oriented, professional on the phone and via email, and comfortable working with Microsoft Office products. Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer incoming phone calls for the sales department
  • Respond to customer emails in a timely and professional manner
  • Confirm order details with customers to ensure accuracy
  • Enter and review orders with strong attention to detail
  • Communicate order information with production, the plant manager, and the CAD team
  • Support overall sales department operations as needed
 What We’re Looking For:
  • Customer service experience (manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required)
  • Moderate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Strong phone and email communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization
  • Ability to multitask and communicate clearly with multiple departments
 Schedule & Pay:
  • First shift
  • Four 10-hour days per week
  • Starting pay of at least $20/hour, with flexibility based on experience
