Cardinal Staffing Services, is immediately hiring for a Club Cook in Toledo, OH. As a Club Cook for Cardinal Staffing, you will work in a fast-paced environment and be involved in all aspects of kitchen operations for a local company.
Job Summary:Prepares, cooks, and serves needed menu and function items per Executive Chef and Club standards. Tastes foods for seasoning, quality and wholesomeness. Should be versed in preparation of meats, poultry, seafood, sauces, soups, vegetables, starches, farinaceous products and cold foods. Should be versed in all cooking methods. Should be versed in food consumption estimates of planned functions or menus.

Available shifts include adjust schedule, 10AM to 6PM Essential Job Duties:
- Gathers all supplies, utensils, and foods needed to prepare menus. Identifies products needed and requisitions them.
- Able to identify food products and prepare with minimal waste.
- Keeps kitchen and station clean and of sanitary order.
- Adheres to all local, state and federal health and safety standards.
- Sets up, maintains and breaks down work area.
- Maintains neat and professional appearance and always observes personal cleanliness rules.
- Notifies Executive Chef/Manager of expected shortages of need before service time.
- Cover, dates, identifies, rotates and neatly stores reusable food products in the kitchen.
- Maintains the highest sanitary standards, safety and security of work area.
- Performs ad-hoc tasks as requested by Executive Chef/Manager.
- Prepares and serves items in accordance with established portion and presentation standards.
- Executes portioning, garnishing and preparation per Executive Chef and Club standards.
- Cleans equipment and ensures refrigerated areas are in clean, neat and organized fashion.
- Can perform all job duties of classifications below ranking.
- Assists other kitchen team members when needed.
- All other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
