- Webberville, MI
- $26–$32/hr based on experience
- 50–60 hours/week | Overtime Required
- 1st, 2nd & 3rd Shift Available
- Build, repair, and maintain a large fleet of state-of-the-art trucks and heavy equipment
- Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
- Fabricate custom components including bumpers, chain boxes, racks, winch mounts, and more
- Weld, straighten, brace, or replace damaged truck and equipment components
- Repair tanks, dumpsters, dump beds, axles, brakes, drivelines, hydraulic and electrical systems
- Perform preventive maintenance, including oil changes
- Diagnose engine, transmission, and emissions issues
- Operate forklifts and shop equipment as needed
- Complete detailed work orders and documentation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
- Work collaboratively with mechanics on large projects
- Follow and promote all safety policies and procedures
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding
- Strong mechanical and fabrication skills
- Experience working on semi-trucks and heavy equipment
- Ability to read measurements and use precision tools
- Skilled with shop tools (presses, band saws, grinders, brakes, etc.)
- Must provide own tools and toolbox
- Valid Chauffeur License required
- Current DOT Medical Card required
- CDL not required, but a plus
- Ability to work overtime and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, and climbing
- Standing and walking throughout the shift
- Exposure to heat, noise, weather, dirt, and shop hazards
- Strong hand dexterity, vision, and sustained focus required
