Job Description
Cardinal Staffing Services, is immediately hiring a Casting Technician in Waterville, OH. The Casting Technician handles all aspects of metal casting from preparing the area to pouring the molten metal into the molds and finally cleaning and maintaining all tools and surfaces. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, make safety a priority, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Cardinal Staffing Services, is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($18) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Monday - Friday:1st shift: 7:00am- 3:30pm*Overtime would be available two hours before your shift* Responsibilities of the Casting Technician:

- Set-up and operate casting equipment.
- Make sure temperatures meet the requirements of items to be cast.
- Safe, accurate, and timely execution of metal pours and knock out casting.
- Work with a team to balance weight loads and maintain safety around heat.
- Clear, clean, and maintain workspace to prevent contamination.
- Previous experience in production and/or manufacturing, assembling.
- Good math skills.
- Able to lift heavy loads as needed.
- Comfortable working around extreme heat.
