Job Description

Cardinal Staffing Services, is immediately hiring for an experienced CNC Machine Operator for a large manufacturing client located in Flint,MI. This position will manufacture parts per blueprint, or process instruction, ensuring all specifications are met. Cardinal Staffing Services, is invested in their team members!  All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($17/hr) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).    Available shifts: 1st shift
 Responsibilities of the CNC Machine Operator:
  • Job Description and tasks:
    1. Fully participate in and support the Extreme Precision Screw Products Quality System.
    2. Responsible for ensuring production / manufacturing operations issued by management are fulfilled daily.
    3. Responsible for creation, maintenance, modification, and adequate record keeping of CNC Programming.
    4. Responsible for CNC Machine and Programming set up for CNC Operators.
    5. Responsible for assisting with Corrective and Preventative Actions and other issues related to nonconformances, as requested.
    6. Responsible for recording and reporting any problems related to a product, a process or the Quality Management System.
    7. Responsible for proper handling and storage of parts, gages, or other company equipment.
    8. Responsible for proper record keeping while adhering to the requirements of the Quality System. 
    9. Responsible for in process assurance of product and process conformance.
    10. Responsible for reporting any maintenance or functionality concerns with company equipment. 
    11. Assist Production Manager, as needed.
Preferred Qualifications of the CNC Machine Operator:
  • 2+ years' experience using production machinery
  • Programming a plus
  • Extensive knowledge of machine maintenance and operation required
  • Must possess strong basic math skills
  • Proven history of working with gauges and calipers
