Job OverviewCardinal Staffing is seeking an experienced CMM Operator to join their quality team. This is a full-time contract-to-hire opportunity with competitive pay and potential for long-term employment based on performance.

Responsibilities:
- Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to inspect part dimensions
- Interpret schematics, blueprints, and CAD models to determine measurement requirements
- Use precision tools such as micrometers, bore gauges, and calipers for manual inspection
- Perform quality inspections on machined parts to ensure compliance with specifications
- Create detailed inspection reports and document all measurements
- Communicate with engineering and production teams to resolve dimensional discrepancies
- Calibrate and maintain measuring equipment to ensure optimal accuracy
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
- Proficiency with CMM software and tools
- Strong mathematical skills for reading measurements and performing calculations
- Familiarity with CNC machining processes and tooling
- Mechanical aptitude with an understanding of part tolerances and specifications
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and CAD files
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and precision
- Must be local to Roseville, MI (Required)
