Job Description



    • Assembler -will learn to strip the coating off of the wiring, separate the wires, follow a blueprint to organize, cap, cut wiring, enter into circuit block



    • Soldering/Assembly- will train on soldering gun to cut wires, solder and then follow blueprint to complete assembly



    • Harness Assembler- follow blueprint to cut, prepare wires and add sleeve (harness)



    • Quality Control- inspect soldering joints and quality cramps, ability to step in and communicate quality issues with team, skilled in reading dimensions, following a blueprint, attention to fine detail to inspect all wiring and sign off on quality--- paperwork for documentation, basic computer knowledge, understanding PO s, reports and ability to enter data



    • Shipping & Receiving- pull/prepare orders for shipment, daily outbound shipments to Fanuc, check/enter labeling, PO s into the computer system. The ability to receive parts correctly into Madison Computer system, learn the parts and use the computer for entering/editing PO s ----ideally ability to drive a forklift

  • Probationary Direct hire- employee will be Madison employee on day 1 start working towards benefits



  • Interview will include: (3 people will sit in on interview) work history recap, ruler questions to check if they are comfortable with inch, inch, 3/8 inch etc. Review blueprint to discuss if they have any knowledge/willingness to learn



  • Union shop
