Job Description
Cardinal Staffing Services is immediately hiring Assemblers for a client in Belvidere, IL. As an Assembler, you will play an essential role in our client’s core operations, ensuring that high-quality steel doors for New York subway trains are assembled with precision, polished, and ready for delivery.

Available shift: 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis.

Responsibilities of the Assembler:
- Perform basic assembling, material handling, and machine operating tasks.
- Operate hand and power tools with proficiency.
- Perform pre-assembly set-up and functions as required.
- Maintain work area and equipment by proper cleaning and organizing.
- Focus primarily on the "Hairline" station, utilizing a polishing machine to ensure steel doors are smooth and polished without removing material.
- Stack, pack, count, and label completed parts that are ready for distribution.
- Ensure product and process quality through appropriate inspection and packing procedures.
- Maintain efficiency and follow safety protocols at all times.
Required Qualifications of the Assembler:
- Must have proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Previous assembly experience preferred but not required.
- Forklift experience is valued but not required.
- Ability to lift steel doors independently as needed.
- High attention to detail and safety compliance.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
