Cardinal Staffing Services, is immediately hiring an Air Charter Logistics Specialist in Swanton, OH for a leading air transportation service provider.
Schedule:2nd Shift: Monday – Friday 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM
Cardinal Staffing Services, is invested in their team members! All temporary employees are offered competitive compensation ($25/hr) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire.
Key Responsibilities:• Provide air charter quotes for cargo and passenger movements
• Broker aircraft for domestic and international trips
• Arrange commercial hand-carry shipments and organ transplant moves
• Perform trip setup, flight following, and trip close-out activities
• Maintain and update all records in the in-house ADS operations system
• Collect and record billing information; approve payables and enter data
• Enter and manage service issues in the ADS system
• Support customer service and vendor coordination functions
• Ensure accurate database maintenance for customers and vendors
• Additional duties as assigned by the Air & Ground Logistics Manager
Qualifications:• High school diploma or GED required
• Logistics and/or air transportation experience preferred (ad hoc / just-in-time environment strongly preferred)
• Strong typing and data entry skills
• Professional email and phone communication skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, time-critical setting
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Comfortable working at a desk for extended periods
• Experience with transportation management or operations software preferred
• Must be able to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
