Job Description

Job Title: Aerospace Composites Technician
Position OverviewOur client in Roseville, MI is seeking an Entry-Level Composites Technician to support aerospace manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, reliable, and eager to learn. No prior composites experience is required — training will be provided. The technician will assist with basic composite fabrication tasks, supporting production and ensuring high-quality standards are maintained. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with composite layup, trimming, sanding, and finishing under supervision
  • Prepare materials and work areas for production
  • Follow standard work instructions, blueprints, and safety procedures
  • Help with vacuum bagging and basic curing processes
  • Perform basic inspection tasks and report defects to lead technicians
  • Support tool and mold setup and general shop organization
  • Maintain clean and safe work areas, including proper handling of materials and waste
  • Accurately document production records and inspection results
  • Work with team members to meet daily production goals
 Required Qualifications
  • No prior composites experience required
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
 Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior manufacturing, assembly, or production experience (helpful but not required)
  • Basic familiarity with composite materials (carbon fiber, fiberglass, etc.)
  • Interest in career growth within aerospace manufacturing
 Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Comfortable working in temperature-controlled environments
  • Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
