Job Description
We are looking for someone to fill an Office Admin and Payroll role!
Schedule: 7AM to 4PM, typically Monday to Friday, but could require some flexibility as needed
Pay Rate: $20/hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Collect & process payroll documents obtained from applicants, employees, construction superintendent or foremen in accordance with company policy
Assist employees in completing W-4 s properly and to satisfy I-9 requirements
On a daily basis, collect payroll time and submit for processing with time keeping system
Ensure appropriate records are kept on file at the job site
Perform other office tasks as necessary
40-hour position with ability to work overtime when needed
Data entry into customer s job specific site programs
Order jobsite supplies and forms
1-3 years of timekeeping/office work experience preferred
Requires the ability to process sudden increases in work volume
Required Education, Training and Experience:
Exhibit a spirit of cooperation & teamwork
Enthusiasm and strong work ethic
Ability to work independently with little supervision
Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required
Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills a must
Keen attention to detail
Basic experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
Ability to maintain confidential information
Some experience and/or interest in the construction field
