Job Description

Cardinal Staffing Services is hiring for a Temporary Administrative Assistant in Tallahassee, FL.  As an Administrative Assistant for Cardinal Staffing Services, you will be working on a 60-day project with a local government department assisting in an office environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Answering phones and greeting visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Assist with editing and formatting documents, scanning, copies, and distributing documents.
  • Sending and receiving emails on a large scale to important vendors and contacts. 
  • Providing administrative support for projects and social events.
  • Other administrative duties as required.
 Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities
  • Proficiency with computer applications such as MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), and with email.
  • The ability to multitask and be flexible to day-to-day activities changing.
  • Capacity to work independently and complete assignments within the parameters of given instructions, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required, associate degree helpful.
  • 2+ years of Receptionist or Office Assistant experience preferred.
