Job Description

SUMMARYTends processing machines such as steel pickling, galvanizing, and slitting machines that clean, coat and cut steel by performing the following duties ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.   Other duties may be assigned. Follows all policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook, Standard Operating Procedures, Environmental Management System, and various other sources as they relate to the job function. Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements. Pushes button to activate the machine. Observes machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction. Measures work piece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation. Removes burrs, sharp edges, rust, or scale from work piece. Performs minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies, or work pieces. Assists machine operators to set up machine and transport finished work pieces. Occasionally stitches work pieces.
Hours Monday - Friday 4pm-12am Some overtime may be required. 
Starting pay- $20per hour
Must be open to training on 1st shift
