Job Description
Cardinal Staffing Services is immediately hiring 2nd Shift Shipping Forklift Drivers for a large, well-known fastener company in Rockford, IL. As a Shipping Forklift Driver, you will play a crucial role in our client’s shipping and warehouse operations, ensuring that quality products are efficiently moved and prepared for shipment.
The Shipping Forklift Driver is responsible for operating stand-up forklifts to handle shipping and warehouse tasks, including loading, unloading, and record keeping. Ideal candidates will have experience with stand-up forklifts, be detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Available shifts include:
- 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM (or 2:00 AM during overtime, as needed)
- MUST be able to train on 1st - 7:30am-3:30pm
Responsibilities of the Shipping Forklift Driver:
- Assist with shipping and warehouse tasks using a stand-up forklift.
- Load and unload shipments inside the warehouse facility.
- Accurately record and maintain documentation for shipping activities.
- Pick and prepare items for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.
Required Qualifications of the Shipping Forklift Driver:
- Must have experience operating a stand-up forklift.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
- Flexibility to train on 1st shift and then transition to the regular 2nd shift.
- High attention to detail and adherence to safety/compliance standards.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
