Cardinal Staffing is hiring 1st Shift Driver / Warehouse Associates in Lansing, MI.
Schedule: 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, flexible based on customer needs, some Saturdays)
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour (based on experience)
Employment Type: Direct Hire
About the Role:
Cardinal Staffing is seeking dependable and hardworking 1st Shift Driver / Warehouse Associates for a well-established distribution and production company in Lansing, MI. This is a hands-on warehouse position in a fast-paced construction products and equipment environment. The ideal candidate will have forklift and material handling experience, strong attention to detail, and a valid Chauffeur’s License.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Operate forklifts, saws, and other warehouse equipment while following all safety procedures.
- Load and unload construction materials and finished products.
- Assist with warehouse organization, inventory, and material handling.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following company policies.
Job Requirements:
- Valid Chauffeur’s License required.
- DOT Medical Card preferred.
- Previous forklift and warehouse/material handling experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Steel toe or composite toe boots required.
- Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch and perform basic math calculations.
- Reliable transportation with a strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude.
