Job Description
1st Shift Janitor
Location:Milan, MI
Job Summary:
As a 1st Shift Janitor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our manufacturing facility. Your primary responsibilities will include performing routine cleaning tasks, ensuring common areas and workspaces are well-maintained, and supporting the overall operations of the company. Shift is 7:00am-330pm Monday-Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in designated areas
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
- Restock and replenish supplies in restrooms and break rooms
- Perform light maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs and cleaning windows
- Identify and report any issues or concerns related to the facility's cleanliness and upkeep
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a janitorial or custodial role is preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Physically capable of performing the required tasks, including lifting and moving light equipment and supplies
- Reliable and punctual
Working Conditions:The work environment is a manufacturing facility, which may involve exposure to noise, dust, and other industrial conditions. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided.
