Job Description
Cardinal Staffing is hiring for a CAD Programmer for an Steel Manufacturing Warehouse in Burton, MI.
Job Summary:
As a CAD Programmer, you will play a vital role in supporting our manufacturing operations. Utilizing your expertise in computer-aided design (CAD) software and programming, you will create and modify digital models and designs to ensure the efficient production of our specialized equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proficiently operate CAD software to design, develop, and update digital models and drawings- Knowledge in AutoCAD, Solid Works, or Fusion360 - Creating CAD drawings for the CNC department. - Creating a job list for the CNC department through Google Sheets to help keep that department organized. - Assisting with scanning shippers into Fulcrum or creating shippers, help answering phones when needed
- Provide administrative support, including data entry, scheduling, and general office tasks
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in CAD software and programming languages
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Prior experience in an administrative or technical role is preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Shift hours: 7:00am-3:30pm M-F.
Working Conditions:
This position is based in our on-site manufacturing facility, which may involve some physical demands. The work environment is fast-paced and collaborative, with opportunities for growth and development.
Compensation and Benefits:
This is a temporary-to-hire position with a target pay rate between $17-$20 per hour. Upon successful completion of the temporary assignment, there is potential for the role to transition to a permanent position with a comprehensive benefits package.
