Job Description
Cardinal Staffing Services, is immediately hiring for a detail-oriented General Laborer for metal manufacturing company in Clinton Township, MI. A successful General Laborer should have excellent troubleshooting skills, and have experience in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment.
Cardinal Staffing Services, is invested in their team members. This is a probationary direct hire position starting at $18 an hour as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire.
This is a 1st shift position from 8:30a-5:30pm Monday to Friday. Saturdays from 8:30a-12:30pm. Overtime is available.

Responsibilities of the General Laborer:
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Sort a variety of recycled materials and metals.
- Willingness to ask for additional work, help where is needed.
- Perform tasks involving physical labor using tools, including but not limited to standard. hand tools such as drills, impacts, grinders and reciprocating saw.
- Load, unload materials such as copper wires, automotive parts and dishwashers.
- Frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
- Identify scrap including the grade and type of material and any undesirable elements within the material (willing to train on this).
Required Qualifications of the General Laborer:
- Great attendance.
- Positive attitude.
- Willingness to learn.
- Fast learners, and detail-oriented people encouraged to apply.
- Team players preferred as this is a job that requires open communication and working toward a goal.
