Job Description

Cardinal Staffing Services, is immediately hiring a Tax Preparer for a local business in Perrysburg, OH. As a Tax Preparer you will prepare taxes for individuals and businesses.   Cardinal Staffing Services, is invested in their team members!  All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $17/hr, as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). 
Part time to full time hours based on business needs.  Flexible schedule to work around your lifestyle.   
Tax Preparer Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers, answer the phones 
  • Highly organized with a keen attention to detail 
  • Process tax extensions for businesses
  • Prepare and file in-state sales tax and out-of-state business activities tax returns.
  • Operate equipment such as desktop-networked PC, printer, telephone, console, fax, and related office equipment. Perform tasks in an office environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using Drake software
  • Proficiency in computer systems (spreadsheets, word processing, email).
  • Background in accounting and finance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
