Tool and Die Maintenance Technician / Senior Tool and Die Maker

Are you an experienced Tool and Die Maintenance Technician or Tool and Die Maker looking for an exciting opportunity in Saint Clair, MI? Look no further! Your Duties:

As a Tool and Die Maintenance Technician/Tool and Die Maker, your responsibilities will include:
  • Analyzing specifications, blueprints, and engineering designs to determine the best approach for fabricating tools and dies.
  • Setting up and operating various machines, such as lathes, grinders, and milling machines, to shape and form metal parts.
  • Using precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and quality of finished products.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing tools and dies as needed.
  • Collaborating with engineers and other team members to enhance tooling processes and designs.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Your Skills:

To excel in this role, you should possess:
  • A strong knowledge of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems.
  • Proficiency in analyzing technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to identify issues with tools or dies.
  • A customer service-oriented mindset to meet client requirements.
  • The ability to fabricate parts using various machines and tools.
  • Experience as an industrial electrician or in field service is a plus.
