Job Description

Cardinal Staffing has partnered with a local manufacturing facility that is looking for a MIG welder.
MIG Welder Job Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications
Operate welding machines to fuse metal segments together
Monitor the welding process to avoid overheating of metals or expansion of materials
Maintain equipment and tools in a safe and operable condition
Inspect completed welds to check their strength and appearance

Objectives

To operate welding equipment in order to weld metal parts together
To set up welding equipment and select the appropriate settings according to the type of metal being welded and the desired results
To interpret blueprints or other specifications in order to determine the best welding techniques to use
To monitor the welding process and make adjustments as necessary in order to ensure a high quality weld

MIG Welder Job Skills & Qualifications Needed

A minimum of two years welding experience is required.
Must be able to pass a welding test.
