Job Description
Cardinal Staffing Services, is immediately hiring for General Laborers in Ottawa Hills, OH. As a General Laborer associate for Cardinal Staffing, you will work in a fast-paced outdoor environment and be involved in all aspects of grounds keeping operations for a local company.
General Laborers are required to perform a variety of tasks that require manual labor and use of tools, machinery, and equipment. The position entails heavy lifting and standing on your feet the entire shift.
Cardinal Staffing Services, is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($16) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire.
Available shifts include Monday to Friday 7:45AM to 4:30PM during off season. Starting 10/26/2024, Shifts are 7:45AM to 6:30PM, 7 days a week. Responsibilities of the General Laborers:

- Pick up trash and recycling throughout the properties
- Leaf Pick up
- General Landscaping and watering of city plants
- Shop clean – up
- Property Maintenance
- Operate tools, machinery, and equipment
- Follow instructions and adhere to all company safety guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain a clean work area throughout the shift to ensure a safe work environment.
- Prepare and maintain materials and equipment at the start, during, and end of use.
- Works with entire production team to assist
- Valid, unexpired Driver’s License
- Clean motor vehicle record (driving record) in last 5 years
- Previous groundskeeping experience a plus but not required.
- High attention to detail and safety/compliance.
- Demonstrate good communication skills, problem-solving skills, and sound judgement.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
